My passion for arboriculture began with formal training at Ryde TAFE, where I gained a solid foundation in tree care and management. I then completed a hands-on traineeship, working under highly skilled climbing arborists who taught me the precision, safety, and respect required for working at height in Sydney's urban landscapes.
Ive always loved working outdoors, spending years in Scouts, learning practical skills in nature and later taking up canyoning and abseiling, which gave me valuable experience working at heights and in challenging environments. With a strong background in gardening and tree care, starting Acorn Arbor was a natural step.
We pride ourselves on being thorough, whether thats being thorough thinking about all the aspects of the scope of work and quote to make sure we havent missed any crucial details. Being thorough in our work methods, safety, and completing the job to the highest possible standard, and of course doing a thorough clean-up job.
